Show BOULDKR I was talking to Lcnora Le-Fovre today and she said "you know It's sure getting dead around Boulder. I've been trying to think of something ln tcrcsting to write to my kids but there Just isn't anything happening." I agreed with her on that! We are having a few visitors in town though. Jerry Coleman and his family visited at his parents home the Parley Colemans whollvo over in Salt Gulch. Dorothy Jean Alvey and Sherry Lee Morgan and their children sxe visiting at the home of their parents, the Heber Poulsons; they arrived Friday evening right in the middle of a snow storm. It seems as though the water situation won't be quite so bad as feared next summer. We didn't get quite a foot of snow hero in the valley but' have hopes there is a lot more on the mountain. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ormond spent one day in Richfield and Panguitch; They went to Richfield for a load of merchand-, ise for Irene King's store and Glen received, medical attention in Panguitch. Several women were sustained as visiting teachers in Sacrament meeting. The lesson department teachers were all resustained, also. About all we do over here is shift the ones around who will do the work. Fay Jepsen spent last week down at Glen Canyon with her husband. Most of the teenagers In town held a sleigh riding party at Cathleen Alvey's Sunday evening. Cookies, popcorn and punch were served. No hot chocolate as all the cows are dried up over here. P.S. Started to snow again this morning (Monday) and its really coming down thick and fast. |
