Show PANGUITCH The Bud Wilson family has moved to Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lindsay and girls arc spending three weeks in Denver where Harold Is attending the University on a scholarship. Ray Myers from Monaand a friend from Salt Lake were weekend visitors at the Ccas-ar Myers home, they enjoyed a successful fishing trip at the Lake. The Myers report that son Champ and family have moved from Boulder City, Nevada to Marble Mount, Washington. Weekend visitors at the Quince Houston home were Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Verda) Oldham and family of Seattle, Wash, andd Mr. and Mrs. Que Porter and family from Kearns. A trousseau tea was held Saturday in honor of Kay Riggs by her mother Mrs. Mayo Riggs. Among the guests were Sharlene Neil-son, Mrs. Bert Adams, Janet Dalton from Clrcleville. Coming down from Salt Lake were Mr. and Mrs. James Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Silas Crosby and Mary Ann; from Or-em were Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Cherrington and George. The men folks went fishing on the Lake and got their limits. Wallace Crosby who spent a week here returned to the City with his parents. Aunt Tillie Clark Is still in the hospital. Her children have been here to visit her. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fitzgerald and son Edwin, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Clark and four children, all of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Quince Alvey and four children, of Las Vegas. Mrs. Alvey and children are still here. Mrs. Margaret Daly and Mrs. Susa Walker are medical patients at the hospital. Mrs. Glade Owens underwent major surgery at Pangultch hospital on June 11th. Shn was home a few davs but had to return to the hospital. The four Owens children are staying with their grandparents, the R. M. Frandsens during their mother's illness. We'd like to make a correction on an item from last week: Mrs. James Tebbs instead of Mrs. James Hatch underwent surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Crosby and family of Salt Lake were recent visitors in town. Also Mr. and Mrs. John Crosby of St. George Spent a day here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Theron Crosby are parents of a baby boy born June 12th, this is their second son. Mr. Howard M. Hurst of Salt Lake visited Tuesday at the home of Ills brother, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hurst. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Veater and Mr. and Mrs. Valon Veater of Salina were Sunday guests at the Chester Henrio home. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Fol-som have moved hero from Cannonvllle, they arc living in the Allen home at Spry. The Whorlen Aliens are at Provo where he Is attending summer school at RYU. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Osburn Henrle the past week were Mr. and Mrs Glynn McDonald (Lctha) of Phoenix, Arizona, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Adams and granddaughter of Provo, Captain and Mrs. Quentin C. Stokes and daughters of Del nt. Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Owens of Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Mart McAllister and children Arthur and Lynda visited the past three weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Karl McAllister at Mc-Gulre AFB, New Jersey. They also visited in New York City, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Valley Forge and many other cities Mrs. Lula Dickinson, Amelia Woodard and Alta Talbot spent last week at Salt Lake where they attended the Dickinson Reunion. Mrs. Edith Matheson came down with them for a visit. 1st Lt. Karl D. McAllister visited with his brother SS"t Mayo R. McAllister in Burt-onwood, England one day last week. This is the second time in the past two months they have visited in England. Mrs. LaVenda Moore was a patient at the Panguitch hospital several days last week. Mrs. Gordon Reld spent the weekend at the Vernon Reid home. Gordon, who Is majoring In range management at USU, has employment here for the summer with the Forest Service. Mrs. Reid is a business representative of Mt. States Telephone Co. in the Logan office. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Talbot at Panguitch Lake, was her sister Mr. and Mrs. Leland Talbot of Salt Lake, spending their vacation and enjoying good fishing, even catching two at a time, and their limits. Also Bessie reports her mother has returned here for the summer after spending the winter in Calif, with her daughter Myrtle Wright. Harold Sevy has been named to the Predatory Animal Control Board to fill the vacancy left by the late Albert Sevy. |
