Show Mark 57th Wedding Date Mr and Mrs. T A Heaps of Midvale will celebrate their 57th wedding anniversary on Feb. 25th. They were married Feb. 25, 1903 in Escalan-te; the marriage was solemnized Oct. 24, 1903 in the Mantl Temple. Mr. Heaps was born Aug. 21, 1884 in Escalante, a son of Willard and Beatrice Twitchcll Heaps. Ho was a farmer and- livestock man before moving to Midvale. Mrs. Heaps was bom in Escalante, a daughter of Alonzo and Hannah Griffin Shurtz on Jan. 28, 1886; she is the great granddaughter o f Hyrum Smith, 1st partriarch of the LDS Church. They arc still very active in social and religious at-ialrs. They are the, parents of six sons and daughters: Clifford L., Alma A., RayMond B., Mrs. Sema Nunley, and Mrs. June Ashby, all of Salt Lake, LaMont, of Los Angel-es. They have 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. |
