Show CAMP CORNELIA MEETS The DUP Camp Cornelia met at the home of Alta Talbot on Feb. 18th with Captain Roene S. Houston presiding and conducting. Prayer was by. chaplain Lucy Pendleton. Irene McEwen gave a lec-' turo and showed slides of her trip to England, France, Ita-. ly and other places she visited; she also showed the pictures of the Golden Wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Melt Hatch, and pictures of their family and the guests at the Golden Wedding. Upon the request of close friends of the late Thelma Heywood, a recording was played, recorded by Mrs. Heywood with Irene McEwen as accompanist on the Hammond organ, followed by a song by Floyd Holm. Cleo Hatch read a .poem telling of our modern conveniences in comparison to the way our pioneers lived. Dorothy Davis sang "No Children Allowed" and -Utah Trail". Luncheon was served to 28 members and 8 guests. Hostesses were Alta Talbot and Preal Veater. |
