Mr. and Mrs. Roe Barney , ' and two small children ac companled by Mrs. Jane Wool scy made a business trip to Richfield last week Mr. and Mrs. Wommack (Sin) Greek and three children of Jpplln, Missouri are here visiting his mother, Mrs. Clevia Mclnel ly; Mrs. Patsy Cottam and children of Provo are visiting her parents, the Usher Spencers; Rhoda Barney and children of Central were visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs, Cliff Reynolds, they also had another guest, Janet Cart right, an English citizen who is working for U.S. 'cHlzen-chip, she is a sister-in-law of their son Daii. Delia Christiansen got a vacation from her job in Cedar City .vd is spending it here, her gentleman friend followed her. Mr. and Mrs. Beryl Shurtz and family have re turned from a 1500 mile trip to Yellowstone National Park and surrounding country, they were lucky enough to miss the earthquake by five hours. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Mclnelly of West Jordon are here visiting his mother, Eliza Mclnelly. You can tell school is about to start, the school teachers are dragging back; Mr. and Mrs. Marion Davidson and small daughter came bringing a "59'' Chev., they will live in the Ethyl Llston home again, he is the1 Seminary teacher; the principal, Walter Svedene and family are also back, they brought a new baby son who Is- no. five they have one little girl, they will occupy the William Mitchell home again. Mr. and Mrs Usher Spencer made a business trip to Richfield, Clarice Griffin went with them as far as Panguitch where she met some of her sisters and they went to Las Vegas. Evadean Llston and daughter Beth are in Kamas where Harvey Is working. Blllle and Minnie Davis and the Blake Robinsons and daughter Beth went to Ely, Nevada to the horse races. Two forerunners came heralding the approach of nineteen college professors enroute to-scenic attractions beyond Es-calante, they ate at Whitey's Cafe and stayed at the local motels. Conference went off as planned in the South ward chapel with a good irowa in attendance, the program was as follows: forenoon: Invocation, Andrew Spencer; talks by Dee Haws, Ileie Alvey, Ann Coombs, Lorenzo Griffin, Sam Pollock, Malen Me-cham, Wilford Clark, Dale Marsh, Lorell Munson, and Usher Spencer;. the singing was done by the Primary Homebuilder girls; benediction by Layton Griffin. Lunch was served to the out of town folks. In the afternoon, Invocation was by June Nelson; singing was done by the Slng--ing Mothers led by Thelma Cottam and accompanied by Ruth Griffin; talks by Pres. J. Clyde Spencer, Doyle Cottam.
