Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Johnson of Salt Lake visited over the weekend at the Woodruff Johnson home and enjoyed the local fishing. The Johnsons also report that their son Bill who is with the Civil Aeronau- tics Administration has been transferred to Bryce Canyon Airport which is almost at home. Mr. and Mrs. William Broadhead o f Tooele have been visiting friends and relatives and enjoying the fishing on the Mammoth. The Earl Pendletons entertained a houseful of company over the weekend, some of Earl's relatives and .some of Blanche's; Earl's brother t Grant and wife and the lat-ter's sister Mrs. Ann Bulligant of Calif.; his sister Mrs. Ellis Henrie and her husband of Ogden; Blanche's brother Le-land Oylor and wife, mother Mrs. Annie Oyler, and sister Mrs. Chester New and Mr. New, of Loa. Weekend visitors at the Caesar .Myers home were Mr. and Mrs. Champ Myers of Delta and Mr., and Mrs. Ray Myers of. Mona, and their children. They all enjoyed fishing while here. The Lady Lions will entertain the Lions Club at a party on Saturday, July 19, at the Fish Hatchery. Mr. and Mrs. James P. Cameron and friends from St. George spent the weekend in town and at the Lake. Visitors at the home of Mrs Ruth Tebbs were Mr. and Mrs VeLoy Butterfield and family of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs Claude Adams of Parowan. Janet Tebbs was home from up north with several friends to spend the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley D. Tebbs. Mr. and Mrs.. DuWayno Henrie returned to Phoenix Tuesday after visiting here with friends and relatives while being guests at the J. E. Cooper home. |
