Ruby Moore and Laura Clark arc employed at Ruby's Inn; Ora Shafer is working on Boulder Mt. and spent the : weekend here; Danny Gould- s ing has work at Bryce. ; Mrs. Lynn Stuard is visit ing in Hurricane with Mr. and Mrs. Ward Gibson. Loa Smith, Shelic Griffin, Paula and Jerry Shafer had tonsil operations last week. Monday visitors in town included Marcia Denrett who is employed at Mesquite, Nev.; Mrs. Bill Francisco and children at the C. E. Francisco home ; Mrs. Koye Mecham and daughter with her parents, Mr and Mrs. Elmo Bushnell. Visiting Mrs. Nellie Smith one day last week was Leda Pratt of Escalante; present visitors aro Mr. and Mrs. De- ward Smith and family of i Babbitt, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Haycock of Escalante visited the Jim Smiths one day last week. Home again after being gone for some time are Mr. and Mrs. James Quilter from Logan; Port Riddle from Grand Canyon. s LaDora Goulding visited the Pratt Goulding family in Panguitch and Clara Kay Goulding visited hero one day. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Leib-enguth of Escalante visited in town on Sunday. 4-H club Hentown Stitchers. We aro taking sewing in 411 this year. Our Pres. Carol Partner, Vice Pres. Keela Bushnell, Sec. Jane Hague, Reporter Jerry Shafer, Act. leader Katherino Goulding, other members Linda Johnson, Ronclda Riddle, Mildred Rose and Artols Rose. Our teacher is LaKay Quilter. We are learning how to sew on the machine next Wednesday. |
