Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS The following applications have been filed with the State Engineer to change or appropriate water in Garfield County, State of Utah, throughout the entire year unless otherwise designated. All locations are in SLB&M. To Change: a-3253 West Pangultch Irrigation & Reservoir Co., Box 191 Panguitch, Ut. proposes to change the point of diversion and change a flow right to a storage right of part of a decreed right of the Fifth Judicial District Court, Case No. 843, Sevier River Decree page 21, decreed to the West Panguitch Irrigation & Reservoir Co., for irrigation use. The decree evidences the right to divert all of the flow of Panguitch Creek and tribs. year round, part of the water is to be diverted at a point (1 W. 3420 ft. from EV4 Cor. Sec. 34, T35S, R7W, which is the point of the intersection of the longitudinal axis of the Panguitch Lake Reservoir dam, and the centerline of Panguitch Creek, the water has been released from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 into Panguitch Creek and rediverted along with any of the flow of Panguitch Creek that arises below the aforesaid Panguitch Lake Reservoir dam at points as follows: (2) Sevy Ditch No. 1 S. 1250 ft. and W. 700 ft. from'NE Cor. Sec. 19; (3) Se-Vy Ditch No. 2 S. 1950 ft. and W. 700 ft. from NE Cor. Sec. 19, both in T35S, R6 W; (4) Cooper Ditch N. 200 ft. and E. 450 ft. from SW Cor. Sec. 30; (5) West Ditch S. 750 ft. and E. 100 ft. from NW Cor. Sec. 32; (6) South Ditch S. 800 ft. and E. 200 ft. from NW Cor. Sec. 32, all in T34S, R5W, the Sevy ditch diversions being limited to a diversion for irrigation of a period from May 1 to Oct. 1 of each year, and for year-round domestic and stock-watering purposes, the water to be diverted from the remaining points of diversion or rediversion, having the right for year-round diversion. The water has been diverted and used for the irrigation of 4301.8 acres in Sees. 34, 33, 30, 28' 27, 32, 29, 20. 21, 17, 8, 7; 9; 5; 6; 4; T34S, R5W; 32, 33, 29, 28; 20; 21; T33S, R5W, and for year-round domestic and stock-watering purposes. Hereafter it is proposed to change a flow right of a maximum of 8 sec.-ft. to a storage right which is all of the waters that arise below the outlet of Panguitch Lake Reservoir dam amounting to a maximum of 5791.82 ac.-ft except the water that has heretofore been diverted at the Sevy Ditches Nos. 1 and 2. The water is to be diverted from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 at a point S. 545 ft. and W. 30 ft. from NE Cor. Sec. 31, T34S, R5W, which is the point of the inter-' section of the longitudinal axis of the impounding dam 45 ft. high and the centerline of the natural channel of Panguitch Creek, the dam creating a reservoir having a capacity of 700 ac.-ft. and inundating 36.47 acres in SEU Sec. 30, NEV Sec. 31, NWVi Sec. 32, T34S, R5W, the storage to be accomplished by concurrent storage and use. The water is to be released from the reservoir from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, and rediverted at points of diversion Nos. 4, 5, 6, and used for the irrigation as heretofore. The reservoir is also to be used for an equalizing and stabilizing reservoir of other water rights of the applicant as decreed including therein the storage water in Panguitch Lake Reservoir, and the water diverted from Castle Creek as evidenced by the Sevier River Decree, pages 10 to 21 inclusive. The remaining water of the decreed right of Panguitch Creek, as described herein, will be used for the same purposes during the same period as heretofore. To Appropriate: 28209 United States of America, Bureau of Land Management, P. O. Box No. 777, Salt Lake City, U. .0004 for stock-watering purposes from Wolf Spring, trib. to Unnamed Draw to Hansen Creek. The water is to be diverted at a point N. 60'28'W. 9895 ft. from the point of confluence of Hansen Creek and the Colo. River, which point would lie in SE'NW,4SEV4 in unsur-eyed Sec. 34, T37S, RUE, the water to be diverted by means of a concrete collection box and conveyed through 42 ft, of l-V in. pipe, through 21-in. semi circular metal trough where it will be used for stock watering of 35 cattle. Protests resisting the granting of any of the foregoing applications with reasons therefor, must be made in affidavit form with extra copy and filed with the State Engineer, 403 State Capitol, Salt Lake City 14, Utah, on or before May 10, 1958.
