Ray Griffin is better; Gur-pna Robinson had to be taken to Panguitch with a bad back, they kept her several days but she is home now; Elise Porter was taken out and is still there being treated and observed, her kids from up North came Monday to see her and came on over here. Rowena Barney was taken to Panguitch but came back. Mr. and Mrs. Will R. Porter have returned from the Northern part of the state visiting their children and Mrs. Porter having medical attention, she says she is better. The Panguitch High School presented an assembly program here last week, and it was greatly enjoyed by the audience. Marion Jeppsonwas home or the weekend, he does shoe repairing also shining and coloring, so if you' want the old shoes a new color for spring just contact Marion Jeppson. Usher Spencer took his wife Eva to visit their daughter 1 atsy in Provo, the doctor ordered a change and rest so she will try it there for awhile, then if she doesn't feel better by April she will go to California with her son Carl who is a Research Chemist thero. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Webster received word that their daughter Atheda and baby of California had both been quite ill and were coming home to recuperate but had stopped in Salt Lake City for a few days to visit relatives there. The Websters second girl, La- gene went to Provo where she had employment at the Barbazon where Lila Gene Hall is working. Blake Robinson attended a meeting of the Utah State Racing Association in Springville last week. Visitors at the Lorenzo Griffin home were his daughter Lois, husband and twin daughters. I wish to make some corrections of last week's column; Sherrill Walker did" not leave her baby daughter here, the young man she went with was Floyd Schlodder of Holton,- Kansas, he came in here with the light line crew that was clearing the right of way, and that job was nearly finished and he had such a good job offered him back home he left, they plan to live there. Also Lee Marchant did not help Arnold clean up his Jot. Deon cleaned the lot but the men had a real good visit. Arnold is training to be a pugalist of late. Quite a number of the local people went, to Henrieville to the wedding dance last Saturday night, but due to weather conditions they didn't corao home until morning, some of them not until afternoon. Our married kids and Gerald Barney and his girl friend started to Panguitch after the dance and got stuck in the barpit. a kind fellow in a jeep came along and being unable to1 pull them out took them home with him to the Bryce Canyon Airport,, kept them until morning then got them back on the road and headed for home, he is Jack Dalton who works at the Airport; thanks a lot Jack, that was a good deed.
