Show School Lunch Cost To Increase After much deliberation the Garfield County School Board voted to increase the cost of school lunches served to the students beginning Feb. 4th. The increase will be from 15c to 20c for elementary grades, and from 20c to 25c for secondary students. Students may avail themselves of a savings. Lunches purchased one week In advance will be 90c per week for elementary students and $1.15 for high school students. Lunches for adults will remain at 30c. This increase in prices was made necessary by increased prices in food and freight and in an attempt to operate the lunch program In the black. ' |
