Show TROPIC Ella -Adair Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Sawyer and Mr. and Mrs. Stewart ,Sorenson, and their children, were home for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Dar Smith spent Thanksgiving in Henrie-ville with the Bart Smiths. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cope received Thanksgiving greetings from their son Demont, in Hawaii. We had another near tragic accident this past week when Fred Shakespear' rolled' his car over a few times just south of town. He received a few bruises, his three com panions were shook up a bit; from the looks of the car it is a total wreck. Mrs. Elizabeth Barton and Margene. spent Thanksgiving in Hatch with Mr. and Mrs. Layton Barney. Thelma Shakespear enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the Sherman Davis home. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie LeBe-vre and Mrs. Irene Munson spent. Saturday in St. George with their mother, Mrs. Stella Johnson on her 75th birthday. We were happy to see the former Fern Christensen and family here for Thanksgiving and Mike's dance. The high school music department will present a Christ-- mas program in the school auditorium on Dec. 19th. ; Approximately 175 elemen-'entary school students presented a Thanksgiving program for their parents last week. .'iMrs. Flora Bardwell, home demonstration agent, gave Christmas ideas and suggestions at the monthly meeting of the Better Homes club on Thursday evening in the Home Ec. room. Myra Loy Ott, pre-. sident, was in charge. |
