Show PANGUITCH V. Worthen returned home Saturday after spending a week at Salt Lake with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Worthen. V. reports that his father, who underwent an operation on Dec. 28th, was convalescing nicely at home now. Mr. and Mrs. J. Usher Ilenrlo visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jay LoFevre at Hurricane one day last week. Jay took them on a tour of Project SMART, Supersoni: Rocket Track, atop Hurricane Mesa. Mr. and Mrs. Melt Hatch are visiting In southern California with their fchll-dren, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Dodds and Mr. and Mrs. Verl Hatch. While therq they attended the Tournament of Roses parade and the football game on New Year's day. Visitors at the home of Ida Webb through the holidays were. Mr. and Mrs. Oarren (Louise) Whltlock and family of Dragerton, Mr. and Mrs. Melvln'(Ber-ta) Jones and family of Orem, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Webb of Baker, Nov. Mrs. Bob Webb 1b staying at the homo of Ida Webb for a while. Bob Is working at Glen Canyon and will establish their home near the job. Mary Lee spent last week at Cedar City, leaving there Friday for Salt Lake to see Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Leo off on the train. Wallace will resume his studies at the North Western University In Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Dickinson and daughter Lois visited for ten days over the holidays In the Los Angeles area and saw the Tournament of Roses parade and other festivities. Mr.' and Mrs. J. Merle Prince of Logan are parents of a baby girl born on Jan. 2nd. Proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. T. Frank Sevy arid Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Prince. Mr. and MrsI T. Frank Sevy are visiting in Salt Lake with Mrs. Janice Warnham, and In Logan with Mr. and Mrs, Merle Prince. Mr. and Mrs.Dale Webber spent the holidays in Glendale, Calif with her family, and la, Ocjeanside with his brother . Mr. and Mrs Fred (Mary) Hobson' and sons of Sugar City, Idaho have been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Lynn. Mr. and Mrs. Omer Reld of Las Vegas, Nev. have been visiting friends and relatives ln town. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cameron., former Panguitch residents now residing in i Las Vegas, Nev., wereser- j 'ously injured in a G-car j auto wreck. Mrs. Fay El- ; la, Prince and Mrs., La Reta j Worthen made a trip to j Nevada to see the Camer- i ons. Or. their return they ; reported them improved : but, not out of danger. Mr. i Cameron Is the' father of Mrs. Prince and Mrs. Wor-, then. Mrs. Zella Worthen had the misfortune to fall.and break her hip. She is at the homo of her daughter, Mrs. Pratt Goulding. Another daughter, Mrs; Aur-ella Bauer, of Cedar City is here assisting in the 0 care of her mother. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Worthen visited Saturday with Mrs. Esta Lynn at the Iron County Rest Home in Paf-owan. They report Aunt Esta to be as well as can be expected. She sent greetings to her friends. Mrs. John C. Miller has returned home after visiting for the holidays in Tucson, Arizona with ber son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Melvln G. (Ada) Hardy. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Cameron of Springvllle have been visiting here with friends and relatives. |
