Erna Riggs is home after visiting in Provo a few weeks with relatives. The Desmon Deuels of Blue Diamond, Nevada visited his mother Mrs. Effie Deuel one day last week. Mrs. Gale AVilcock and daughters Judy Gai and Tanya took Mrs. D. H. Evans and Pamela Dalton to Kanab Saturday. They visited the Val Cox family. Lorena Evans returned here with them to stay with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Evans. Mr. ana Mrs! Dewey Beck-strom, Kathy and Kay Davis of Panguitch visited the Eric Barnhursts Sunday. , Evan Wilcock visited Friday and Saturday in Panguitch with his grandmother Mrs. Annie Wilcock. Sunday, Mrs. Wilcock visited here with the Gale Wilcock family. Mrs. Garth Heap and the Wallace Heaps went to Cedar City Saturday. Mrs. Orson Barnhurst went to Henderson, Nev. last week to visit her children. Mrs. Maggie Sawyer is home after spending the winter in Hurricane. The 17th of March Relief Society celebration combined with the MIA was held Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hunt who have moved to Kanab visited the Bob Evanses and their grandparents Mr and Mrs. D. H. Evans. Word was received Friday by Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Evans that their son Buster Evans underwent an eye operation jn the St. Mark's hospital in Salt Lake City. Earl and Stanton Sawyer spent one day last week in Ka nab on business. Mr. and Mrs. Stanton Sawyer have a new trailer house. Mrs. Neil Clove is here visiting the" Lyle Sawyers for a few days. Ronald Sawyer took Mrs. T. II. Sawyer and daughter Clara, JoAnne Heap and Laura Porter to Provo, Orem and Layton over the weekend. Several of our high school students attended the games at Provo; the Layton Barneys also attended the game Saturday. The Roy Shakespears of Tropic visited Sunday with the T. II. Sawyers and the David Sawyers. Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Evans, Pamela Dalton, Gai Wilcock. and Velma Huntington visited Sunday with the John Mech-ams in Tropic. Nancy Sawyer has been staying with the Karl Lowder family while her parents, the LaVon Sawyers, are at Salt Lake and Goshen. - |
