Show Mrs Mollie Davis Dies o Funeral services were held Monday for Mary Schow (Mollie) Davis in the Panguitch North Ward chapel with Bishop John M. Crofts presiding. Prayer in home, Bishop John M. Crofts; Prelude and Postlude, Irene FcEwen and Nina H. Steele; Invocation, Parley Ipson; Remarks by Bishopric, Frank K. Richards; song "Sometime We'll Understand", choir; Speaker, Bishop Rudolph Church; song, I'll Walk With God", Walter and Dorlcen Talbot; Speaker, Susie Johnson; Tribute from Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Ida Chidester; song "Invocation", South Ward Ladles Chorus; Benediction, John F. Hatch. The grave was dedicated by James L. Hatch. Burial was in 'the Panguitch cemetery under direction of Neal S. Magleby Mortuary. Mrs. Schow, 86, died of causes incident to age Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Haycock, of Panguitch. Born Feb. 22, 1871 in Panguitch, she was a daughter of Ira C. and Marie Sorensen Sshow. She was married to Joseph W. Davis in Panguitch in 1891; the marriage was solemnized later in the Manti Temple. Mr. Davis died a number of years ago. She' married Dick Judd.in 1915 and he died in 1918. Mrs. Davis was active in Relief Society affairs and in the DUP activities. Surviving are: daughters: Mrs. Haycock; Mrs. MaryPum-pelly, Kalispell, Mont.; sons: Joseph W. and Ira Chris, Pan-guitch;Clem, Ogden; 15 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. ,A brother and sister, Nels Schow and Mrs. Annie Riggs, of Panguitch. |
