Mrs. LaPrcU Allen, who was recuperating at her daughter's , home from a major operation, was i rushed to the Richfield hospital with a blood clot on her lungs. Lana Jean King celebrated her 4th birthday Friday with a party for her little friends. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Roberts of Monroe visited their parents Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Roberts. Bryant Riddle came home Sunday with Selden Langford. He has been In Barstow, Calif, visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Qayle Riddle and seeking employment. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Kay took his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shlrl Nay, to Mtlford to meet the train to go to Calif. They will visit their children and while there Mr, Nay will have an operation. Kay Mathews will leave Feb. 16th for Induction Into the armed forces. Stake LBS Conference will be held In the Antimony Ward chapel Feb, 7th, A free lunch will be served to everyone In the Social Hall at noon. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rtddle rpent the weekend in Cedar City with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Middleton. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Nlcholes visited over the weekend In Cedar City with her parents. Mrs. Ira Elmer of Cannonvtlle Is spending several days here with her daughter, Beth Twltchelland family because they are all 111 with the riu. Mr. and Mrs. Miles Stoker and family and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Stoker and family, all of Richfield. , Mr. and Mrs. Ous Latnbson rame Saturday to move more of their belongings to Mlnersvllle where they have moved. Jet Bailey celebrated her 4 th birthday with a party for her lit-'lie friends. A large crowd attended MIA ou Tuesday to see and hear Miss Wit-ma Falrbourne, exchange student. Miss Lola Dawn Smoot and Coy Gleave came home from Cullf. on Jan. l?th with Coy's fiance, Lov-ell Buchanan, of Venice. He visited a couple of days at the U.S. Gleave home before returning to his studies at Salt Lake, Ned Henderson'and Reed Nlcholes had the misfortune to hit a deer near the ptter Creek reservoir Sunday evening. Both boys escaped serious injury but the car was badly damaged. |
