Show ANTIMONY Pvt. Iteed Nlcholes arrived home last Thursday to spend a week's furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Nlcholes. He will return to Fort Ord, Calif. Laltae Mathews took her Sunday School Class, six girls and (our boys, to the Mantl Temple last Wednesday. On their way home they stopped In Richfield and went swimming. Bishop and Mrs. Augustus TwItcbMl also went with them. Fifteen Boy Scouts and their leader, Phil Allen, along with Ar-den Nay and Stanley Nlcholes, enjoyed a threo day camping trip at the Barker Reservoir last week. Tney were caught between two, floods but finally made It home safely. Mr. and Mrs. dene Owens ot Pangultch visited Tuesday and Wednesday with Elva's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Allen. Gordon Chynoweth celebrated his 6th -birthday Sunday with a party on his grandmother's (Minnie Moore) lawn. Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Smith and Mrs, Etta Haycock ot Circlevtlle visited Thursday with Mrs. Val-aria King. Mrs. Mona Black returned home Thurrfay ater a vacation trip to Yellowstone Park with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ell Lund-gren, ot Monroe. Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Riddle ot Ilarstow, Calif, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaMaun Riddle. Visiting a couple of days last week at the Herman Black home were Mr. and Mrs. jleber King of Prescott, Ariz. Mrs. Marian Mclnelly and children of Tooele visited Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Twl-tchell. Mr. and Mrs. Gyle Riddle had their baby named In meeting Sunday. He was given the name ot Bruce E. Riddle. Two car loads of Relief Society ladles went to Junction last Tuesday to paint the church Welfare building. Lena Rae Gleave Is home alter spending ten days In Monroe with the Clifford Julander family. Her cousin Devona returned home with her for a visit. Mrs. Beth Twltchell and children have gone to Cedar City to visit a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Elmer. Visitors at the Claude Savage heme tho past ween hare been Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Spencer and children of Boise. Idaho, Mrs. Pollyanna Spencer ot Escalante, and Miss Nellie Dawn Spencer ot Pocatello, Idaho. Mr, and Mrs. BUI Carlson ("Margie King) of Mldvale are the parents of a baby girl born Aug. 1. Proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald King. Mr. and Mrs.. Mertbell Oleave and family of McOUl, Nev. visited here last week. Mr. and Mrs. LaVaf Roberts and baby of McOIll, Nev. visited last week at the Webb Roberts home. Visiting Teachers Meeting was held Monday night at the home of Minnie Moore. juanlta Davis left Wednesday for Provo to make preparations for the coming school year. |
