Show ESCALANTE Ferrel Roundy, son of Mrs. Al-da Cardon, and Bernard Twltchell, grandson of Mrs. Lucy Twltchell, left July 22 for duty in the army. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Orlffln ot Trovo visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Orlffln and Mr. and Mrs. Orland Porter. , Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Orlffln of Provo visited with the Ken Ortrrins and with Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Porter, The Thomas Heber Heaps family held a three day reunion recently at Gooseberry Tark with C3 members attending. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Orlffln are on a month's trip Into Canada. They were Joined by their, entire family Tor the trip. Mrs. Susan Heaps had as vis- itors last Saturday, Mrs. Ray fmlth and baby of Henrlevllle and Mrs. Ueed Williams' and daughters of Teasdale. Mrs. Olenna Hants ot Oallup, N. M. Is visiting her mother, Mr. Dicey Porter. Mrs. Fay Alvey had as guests Sunday, her mother, Mrs. Little, and a sister and brothers from Hatch. !A farewell party for Ferrelt Roundy was held Monday evening In the South Ward Chapel. Mrs. Sherll Alvey was honored at a shower given by her motnei, Mrs. Heber Poulson, and her husband's mother, Mrs. Julia Barnes, at the Dames liome' Wednesday of last week. Mrs. Alvey is here on a visit from Calif, where her husband is In the service. A Stake Priesthood and MIA Leadership meeting held In Boulder was well attended by our members. Jay Deuel visited; last woeK with his mother, Mrs. Hulda Spencer. Eujrene Orlffln drove to Salt Lake last weekend to get his wife, the former Margie King of Boulder, who will visit here a short time He is home on furlough from Wash, where he Is statlonedwllh th army. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Cottam en tertalned at a canyon party Sunday evening. John Hamilton and members ot his family from Morgan visited here last week. Mr. and Mrs. Hllo Boyse are home after being away two years. Mrs. Norma Barnson of Richfield visited with her sisters last weekend. She came for her daughter who had been visiting with the Porters. Janet Porter returned with them to visit. Miss Enid Schow ot Salt Lake visited here the past week. " Ruth Robinson visited a few days last week with Cheryle Morrill in Junction and both attended the 4-H outing at Duck Creek Joan Orlffln, daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. Leslie GrlffiL, was treated at the Pangultch Hospital last week for a broken arm. The Don Davis family vtslted nt Salt Lake last weekend.. Mrs. Norman Dotson and chll-drln returned to Hurricane last week after visiting several days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs, Rutus Liston. Mr. and Mrs. Clem Orlffln arc home after living at Salt Lake the past year. Blake Robinson Is In Beaver this weekend attending the races. Lorenzo Orlffln returned home Saturday after attending summer school at BYU, Mrs. Jean Ikaard and children ot Provo are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Barney.
