Show ESCALANTE u A daughterf was born, to Mr. and Mrs. Lorell Munson on April 21st. The Escalante High School Chorus and Band held a concert under the direction of their music teacher, Stanley Spencer. Airs. Nadene Mitchell and family were guests ot Mr. and Mrs. Ray Adair last week The Escalante Seminary sponsored a picture show Monday for the townspeople. Mr. Thomas Alvey has returned home after having an operation and has been very 111 the past three weeks in the hospital. Mr. Elmer Alvey of Las Vegas was here visiting friends and relatives Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wooley, also their son Owen and' wife were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Iteed Wooley of Orera. Mr. and Mrs. Lafette Alvey have been visiting here. , Garry Pollock and a lady friend are visiting his mother, Mrs. Ethel Pollock. jQarry Is working at the Utah Copper Mills at Magna. Mrs. Clyde Spencer accompanied her daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Talma ge Taylor ot Circleville to Salt Lake City. The Moquette Club held their monthly meeting at the home of Deanna Lyman. Hostesses were Deanna Lyman, Dixie Spencer, ' Cloe Coleman and Jewel Moosman. Mr. and Mrs, Mack Odegards of St. Ceorge, also Fay Pollock who Is going to school at Dixie, arc the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Allen- Pollock. Leda Mae Davis, who has been going to the BYU, came home last weekend tor conference. Mrs. Melba Qledhlll has just eome home from Phoenix, Arlt. where she visited her daughter and family. Aunt Susan Heaps has been reported quite 111 the past fewv days. |
