Show Pangaitch High School News A victorious White party emerged from the studentbody elections a week ago yesterday to Jlnd themselves winners of everything but two offices. White Prexy candidate Carl Farnsworth won a close battle for President over Earl Henrie, and Robert Ipson, the Blue party candidate for vice president' won over Claude Hatch. The cheerleaders JoAnn Pendleton and . Metta Jane Wllcock carrying the White banner bested Marie Holm and Vickie Hotu son. Karen Houston was nomln-a ted for cheerleader on both parties, and as a result ran on neither. Out of a group of seven mrmm girls running' for social commit. tee, Mary Ann Sandln and Janet Tebbs of the White party and Amy Henrie of the Blues emerged victorious. To reign over the Oiaduatlan. Dance -on May 20th, the students chose Helen Wilson and Rfchard Miller, who were, of course, the Blue party candidates, over Fern Henrie and Wayne Owens, the White's. Balloting came Immediately after an election assembly, where those who were nominated a week previously at the nominating assembly, exhibited the qualifications they thought qualified them for office. The election assembly is traditionally one of the best of the school year, and this one was outstanding. The White Party built their program around the theme, "Take Me Out To The Ball Game", and featured their candidates as the White Sox. The time of the Blue Party was spent In the hills at the home of Davy Crockett, complete with a very uncooperative cow and rooster. Campaign managers for the parties were Kathleen Church, due, and Mamie Hatch for the Whites. The two Junior Colleges from this region recently did their bidding for our Graduating students last week, and this.
