Thus, behind Marys-vale and Bryce Valley, Pangultch once more determlndly marches to the Round Robin. This, then, Is the place where we patriotically cry, "God bless you. Bring back first place!" Also, "Fight hard boys, you can count on us to back you up!" We have, and they can. As the home games are now over, the one who's in charge here feels that we should say thanks for the good behavior we've witnessed In basketball this year. It has been goodr among students and adults alike. Eo if by chance we should cop this- good sportsmanship trophy. It's as mucli to your credit as ours. If we don't, thanks a Jot anyway for being such good r ports. Mr. Christensen made some Italian Goulash, and his wife some garlic bread last week, In sizeable quantities, and thus provided the essentials for a tasty yearbook staff party, attended by all ten of us, along with Mrs. Merrell and Mrs. Christensen. Holding one of the biggest crowds it has been called on for some time to hold, the high school gym last week witnessed this year' production of Pan gultch's Dance Review. Everybody present genuinely enjoyed the dances and the tumbling exhibition, and from those of us who watched comes praise for the terrific job done by Mrs. Black, Mrs. Erma H1U, the accompanist, and the many girls who took part. Missing all of .school last . week, Kathleen Clturch and Mamie Ha tcli attended a leadership school at the USAC In Logan, sponsored by the 411. Along-with absorbing much knowledge and food, the girls picked up some of the campus fashions, as wttnesseth their multicolored toree-doors. No comment on the assembly contest which was won last week by the sophomores, except to say that they did put on. a good program and congratula tlons from the disappointed Seniors. For having the most fun last Friday night at the Senior's Fun Dance, free round trips to the city of Spry (on the banks of beautiful Sevier River!), and some luggage to bring back their souvenirs In (two tin pallt, on sale at Hurst Variety), were presented to Dave Hatch and JoAnn Pendleton, courtesy of Mrs. John Chldester and the Senior Class. A consolation prize went to John Ross Hurst. This consolation prlxe Included some shoe laces and razor blades. (To keep you presentable, from head to toe!)" |
