Show DEATH MRS 0 JOHNSON at ten tell tuesday evening tile the angel of death entered the home of 0 lucius 0 johnson and robbed it of its choicest inmate wife and mother florence wilde johnson mrs johnson became III on wednesday seven days previous and pneumonia developed her condition was regarded as very favorable however until tuesday morning when a change tor for the worse came and she sank into semi con ness and was forced to tight fight tor for breath all that could be done was done in fit art an effort to prolong life thru the night tor for it was felt that if she could withstand the malady another twenty tour four hours her lungs would begin to clear up tip and the crisis would be past death came peacefully at the hour stated however and a sorrowing husband and five children were left without the blessed companionship of 0 wife and mother mrs airs johnson was the daughter of 0 the late thomas IF 11 wilde ot of blackfoot idaho and liis wife sarah J wilde of this city she was born at mink creek idalio idaho july 1885 and the family removed to this city when she was about two years ot of age mrs johnson resided in this city from that time until her death and during hr girlhood was an active worker in organizations of the fourth ward and after her marriage on june 1906 became identified with the church work in fit the ward she possessed a very kind disposition and an ambitious nature and was a helpmeet in all that the term implies two of the children became ill III with pneumonia at the time their mother tool took sick and they were taken to the home of mr and mrs R E alvord at farr west ivest where they are being cared for reports from them are to the effect that they are mending the eldest child in the family is 12 years and the youngest is 2 years of age there are also surviving mrs johnson her mother two brothers and three sisters the body was prepared tor for burial and taken to the home of mr air and mrs 13 T alvord until the funeral services which were held in tile first ward chapel this afternoon at 2 under the direction of bishop geo W watkins |
