Show FELL 1 HUG BYE HORRIBLE FATE OF TWO MEN AS RESULT OF A FRIENDLY SCUFFLE. Both Men Fell in Vat of Boiling Fluid and Were Fatally Injured Before Friends Could Rescue Them, Being Cooked Alive. Provo, Utah. II. D. Johnson nnd John H. Neboker aro dead as the result re-sult of a terrible accident which befell be-fell tho two men at noon Friday. Tho two men wero literally cooked in boiling boil-ing dye. Roth men wero employed In tho Knight woolen mills. At the noon hour they were engaged In a friendly scuffle, scuf-fle, when thoy fell Into a vat of boiling boil-ing dye. Johnson's body was completely com-pletely submerged In tho heated fluid, while Ncbekor fared but llttlo bettor. Johnson was partially saved by tho fact that ho was uppermost when tho two loll into the vat, nnd for this reason rea-son was not qulto so terribly burned; yet Johnson's burns proved fatal, his Jcath occurring Saturday. 'rio accident was witnessed by n number of tho other employees who rushed to the rescue, and when thoy took hold of Johnson's arms to pull him out tho llesh camo off wherever touched. Johnson, writhing in agony, floated twice across tho vat before ho could be rescued from tho boiling fluid. |
