Burr of Brucevllle, member mem-ber of the Republican state committee from the Second district, comes to Indianapolis In-dianapolis often. Committeeman Barr Is sober and industrious nnd a farmor. While in Indianapolis Mr. Barr was telling his friends of the most embarrassing embar-rassing experience he over had. It happened on account of his good nature na-ture and a willingness to do a klud act tor a friend. One night Mr. Barr ran ncross a neighbor who had 'eon out with "the boys." The neighbor was feeling most Jubilant and Barr decided that he ought to take him home. The committeeman found he had a Job on bis hands, and It was very late when he arrJyeiT with his neighbor at tho latter-VHoor. "Whore In tho world havo you beon?" domanded tho neighbor's wife, as ho made Ills way upstuirs. "Well, you seo, my dear," said the nolghbor, unsteadily, "I have spent two hours taking Joo Barr home." "It was but a fow hours," said Barr, "until my family heard that I had to he taken home. I've been evor since trylug to straighten that out with my wife.
