Show District M. I. A. Conference A district conference of the M.I. Assus, of this portion of the stake was held at the ball In this city last Sunday at 2 p. m and 8 p. m. The visitors lu attendance attend-ance were Stake Prcst Krnest P. Horeley , Stake Aids .Ml mile II. Jensen aud Rachel Evans of llrlgham City. Rcprcaontat Ives from Garland aud Garland North, East Garland, Heaver Dam, llothwell, Thatcher That-cher uud Ultvood associations were present pres-ent aud the hall was well tilled. District Dis-trict Supt. James Jeaseu took churge of the meellugs. AFTKRNOON SESSION. Singing by choir "Ayake Yu Saints Awake." Prayer by Thomas Laws. Singing "Lo tho Mighty God Appear-Ing." Appear-Ing." Sacrament administered by Eld-ors Eld-ors Luther B. Sassrr and Albert Wallace, Tho officers of tho Y. M. M. I. Assn. were presented by Dlst, Supt. James Jensen and Minnie II, Jensen prexeuted tho oillccrs of tho Y. L. M. I. Assn., which were all unanimously sustained. Tho speakers were Elder 0. L. Wilcox, Stuko Aids Huchel Evans aud Minnie II. Jen-scu Jen-scu aud Prist. Ernest P. Horsley. During Dur-ing the afternoon Mrs. Marie Wing sang "Tho Half Hus Never Heen Told" accompanied ac-companied lu tho thorns by tho choir. Singing "O Happy Homo." Benedlc-tlou Benedlc-tlou by A, II. Archibald. EVENINO SESSION. After tho openlug exercises aud prayer by Elder Frimkham, tho followlug speakers addressed tho meeting: Dlst. Supt. of Religion Classes J. H, Forsgren, Elder L. W. Proton, Aids Mlunlo II. Jensen and Rachel Evans, Hp. W. L. Grover and Prcst. Eruest P. Horsley. A qtmrtotta was rendered by members of the Thatcher association. Tho choir sang tho nnthem "Tho 8hippard'a Voice" and tho loncdlctlon was pro-uounced pro-uounced by Hose Vantlcet. The regular monthly meeting of the Fifth Quorum of Elders was held at the Tithing office at 4 p. m, A good attend-sore attend-sore was present. |
