Show IN JUSTICE SMITH'S COURT. The case of Albert Haff vs." Martin Mar-tin Stark came before Justice Bur-dett Bur-dett Smith for trail last Saturday afternoon and evening. Thirteen witnesses were examined and considerable con-siderable time taken up with the case. The action was bi ought by Haff to recover $295.00 damages in that one of his horses was killed and harness, wagon and other animal ani-mal injured at the Sugar Co's silo bridge. Atty. Chas. E. Foxlcy appeared for plaintiff and Atty. James Perry for defendant. Twelve days were given the attorneys at-torneys in which to file brcefs. Today the case of C. II. Hales of Riverside comes up for trial. |
