Show County Court. The county commissioners met in regular session Monday, Jan. 18. Full board present. The following road supervisors were appointed: Garland, Hyrum S. Rice; Riverside, Joseph Had-ficld; Had-ficld; Beaver Dam, Joseph Bitters; Honcyville, Elzarus Hunsakcr. The following were appointed deputy assessors: John B. Finn, Willard; Jacob Zundcl, Union and Salt Lake ; A. E. Zundcl, Plymouth ; C. W. Robbins, Curlew; E. W. Carter, Park Valley; John N. Boothe, Collinstou; Geo. E. Hall, Portage; Frank Peck, Fielding; H. B. Coles, Rawlins and Promontory ; George C. Dewey, Dewey ville; J. W. Palmer, Kelton and Terrace ; A. Anderson, Junction; J. A. Tracy, Clear Creek and Yost ; C. C. Toyne, Grouse Creek; Mrs. Rose H. Ncc-lcy Ncc-lcy was appointed an assistant in the office at a salary of $1.25 a day. Orson Nelson was appointed road supervisor of Box Elder dist. J. D. Harding was appointed county physician. Phillip Paskct was re-appointed registrar of vital statistics for Grouse Creek. The resignation of M. J. Richards as registrar of vital statistics of Riverside precinct was accepted and J. Hadficld appointed in his stead. Communication from Wm. Robinson, Robin-son, county clerk of Morgan Co., relative to the county's portion of taxes of transit stock assessed in Box Elder county and grazed in Morgan for year 1908, was filed. isaid matter, together with other similar matters heretofore presented, presen-ted, was referred to the county attorney, at-torney, chairman of board and clerk for investigation. The matter of regulating the expiration ex-piration of license for conducting business in the county was considered consid-ered and a resolution adopted regarding re-garding same. Hans Keller was appointed road supervisor of Mantua, vice Peter C. Jensen, resigned. The official bonds of the following follow-ing persons were accepted: H. S. Jensen, constable Box Elder; Jos. Hadficld, constable Riverside; O. H. Hoskins, constable Portage ; Enoch En-och Hunsakcr, constable Calls Fort ; C. G. Anderson, constable Bear River ; J. N. Gardner, J. of P., Dcw-cyville; Dcw-cyville; O. D. Mclntirc, J. of P., Clear Creek; John Ileaton, J. of P., Portage. The annual report of the road supervisors su-pervisors of the following road districts dis-tricts was accepted : J. P. Christcn-scn, Christcn-scn, Manila ; M. J. Richards, Riverside; River-side; II. C. House, Corinne; James W. Palmer, Park Valley and Eph-raim Eph-raim Hansen, Beaver Dam. Warranty deed from Joseph Pier-son Pier-son and wife for a certain piece of land in Section 33, Township 11 North, Range 4 West was accepted accept-ed and ordered placed 011 record. Dr. Smith, Evan Morgan, J. F. Walker, Jos. S. Clark, Jr., A. C. Nelson, G. W. Latib of Collinston and Fielding appeared and urged that a liquor license heretofore is sued to A. M. Brown of Collinston should be revoked and that a new license not be granted as the said saloon at Collinston was not properly pro-perly conducted, minors were allowed al-lowed to visit there and other vices vi-ces contrary to the statute were permitted to be practiced in said' saloon. The said A. M. Brown having hav-ing furnished a bond given by the American Surety Co., but the said bond, in the opinion of the Co., attorney not setting forth the obligation obli-gation in conformity with the facts was insufficient; Evan Morgan and J. A. Bigler sureties to the undertaking of the said A. M. Brown for the conducting of a saloon sal-oon properly at Collinston were oidercd released from any further obligation and A. M. Brown is hereby here-by given to and including 6 o'clock p. 111., of this day in which to file a new bond. A special set for Saturday, Jan. 23rd, was appointed to investigate the petition of R. J. Smith ctal. against granting license to A. M. Brown. Jos. Y. Jensen of Garland appeared ap-peared and asked the Board for an order authorizing the County Treasurer to allow him to redeem from sale to the county for taxes, the E 1-2 of Lot 3, Block 10, Plat "C" Brigham Gty Survey by paying pay-ing the taxes . due, but that the county pay the costs of sale etc., application denied. Mr. Maginnis of Ogdcn, appeared appear-ed relative to the taxes of Thomas J. Kcogh on certain sheep assessed assess-ed in Box Elder Co. Frank J. Walker, justice of the peace of Fielding asked to be furnished fur-nished with the revised statutes of Utah and various Session Laws or the Compiled Laws of Utah 1907. deferred. M. B.
