Show Collinston. Mrs. Nellie Gittens of Smith-field Smith-field is visiting her mother Mrs. Ed Richards. Mrs. Evan Morgan spent a a few days in Brigham during the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thompson Thomp-son became tho proud parents of a fine baby boy born last Tuesday morning of this week, but their joy was turned into mourning. The baby died on Tuesday morning of this week, the cause of death being brain trouble. Tho sympathy of the community is with them in their sad bereavement. -Mrs Ephrhxm Hansen oBeaver Dam gavo birth to a little baby girl Monday, Aug. 23rd. Both mother and baby doing woll. Bishop Hess of Fielding was in Ogden on business last Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Mr. and Mrs. Vance Biglor wore visiting in Idaho tho past week. Miss Gladys Farroll was tho guest of Mrs. Dr. Smith on Tuesday and Wednesday. Mrs. Ed Richards prevented what might have boon a very serious accident on Thursday last. Little Lila Busenbark, three years old, went toddling up tho railroad track and was found by Mrs. Richards a few minutes before the fast afternoon after-noon express was due, and taken homo. Jack Williams, representing tho Philadelphia Press, reached hero from Brigham Monday evening. Mr. Williams is walking walk-ing from Philadelphia to Seattle, 4285 miles, on a wager of $1500, tho foit to bo completed in 150 days, from May 12. 102 days havo escaped and Mr. Williams is certain to finish on schedule time, barring accidents and sickness. Miss Delia Bowcutt is visiting in Honoyvillo for a few days. Mrs. Stolla Porliwitts of Salt Lake City, has been visiting friends in town tho past week. Wayne Morgan and Mrs. Dr. Smith wore in Ogden Saturday purchasing a special line of Christmas Holiday goods for tho Collinston Drug Co. Evan Morgan was in Ogdon Saturday "purchasing Holiday goods. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Grover are again bereft in tho very sudden death of their little-baby jjjjjjjjgjjjg TTr iH ,MM last Monday morning. Tho baby had been ailing only a few 'M hours, and as the parents thought had gone to sleep, but it was the sleep that knows no awakening and when an hour later tho parents wont to their baby's cot, they found it cold in death. This death the more unfortunate because their first baby died in the first week of its lifo. Their many friends sym- pathize with tho bereaved par- ents in their loss. Tho funeral. services were held Wednesday at Fielding. Mrs. N. S. Hansen has ,re-turned ,re-turned from a visit with relatives v in Brigham City. M. S. |
