Show services for brose L millers miller held in panguitch tuesday one of the saddest of at events occurred to mar the holiday spirit in Pan gultch when word was received of 0 the death ot of broso brose miller in lyman wyoming sunday evien even ing ng as a result of having token taken a drink of liquor which it la is presumed contained wood alcohol brose had been operating a bery ice station at lyman the past four or five months and on the evening of his death a party of three tarea young people of lyman dropped into tho the station and all took a drink of the poison liquor all were overcome almost lamed lately after taking the drink and 11 I 1 kasnot until monday morning that they were discovered at first it was thought that a all 11 were dead finally Fbi ally however i after attempts wore were made to revive them tho survivors recovered sufficiently to tell whit what happened it was stated that broso brose was the first to be which occurred almost Immediately after ho he had partaken partaker par taken of tao thell 11 quor then ono by ore one the other three became unconscious Wc according cording to indications it was sup supposed that brose only lived a few minutes of altar tor becoming unconscious the others are reported to bo be recovering although all are suffering from partial paralysis the young people are howard rollins colllns freda and shirley slade blade all of whom are prominent young people of lyman james miller took charge of via tho bouyat body at lyman lind and brought it to salt bait lake arriving at panguitch Pan gultch tuesday morning brose waa hs a L young man of good clean habits and was very popular among hlll associates both young ands and old and the cam mAity te Is cast in deep groomas gloom as a r result of the untimely death of this estimable young man he was born in panguitch Pan gultch october 11 1907 and graduated from the 0 H S later going to dixie normal school in st george arid and the university of utah where he spent three years he la is survived by his parents parent 8 allen alien 3 and alice slade miller two sisters el mrs maud fullmer salt lake mrs marian snow st george and two brothers donald A miller salt lake wid and james G miller ot of panguitch Pan gultch and a large number of other relatives here funeral services were held bold la is the south ward chapel tuesday december 27 1932 at I 1 p in elder parley ipson conducting the services choir sang sweet hour oti of P prayer rayer prayer was offered by elder james P cameron cambron speakers were elder roy aloy L hearle bishop fred G gardiner elders N orald hearle and parley ipson apson jesse jease orton sang sane lay my head beneath the rose austin heywood and osburn H hearle a it r I 1 e rendered a saxophone sax aphone duet accompanied by mrs airs margaret scott at tho the plane piano A duet when you come to the end of a perfect day was sung by mrs mra lydia lassen and mrs bolle belle cooper accompanied by mra afro ado ada deario at the piano closing song 17 farewell drowell all earthly honors benediction was pronounced by elder herbert N worthen interment was in the family lot in tho the city cemetery the grave was dedicated by bishop F Q G gardiner those attending the services from out of town were air and mra afro rulon S snow of st george mr and mrs afro arvill fullmer mrs airs alice miller and son bon donald from salt lake mr and mrs allen alien miller and son and daughter jack and alta of tropic mrs airs ellen hancock of richfield |
