Show conference HAS GOOD attendance 1 5 the quarterly conference ot of the panguitch Pan gultch stake ot at zion convened sunday 10 a m in the north ward chapel owing to sickness and other muses causes nono none of the general gendral church authorities wera present president W J henderson Hender soa of the stake presidency and his bis counselors william T owens and james L hatch were present pro sent also the following members 01 0 the stake high council george H wilson james AI 11 sargent steven walker L C sargent john dfwar F wor or jarrz aben john T partridge james P cameron joseph B E heywood john SC 8 crosby rosby henry G excell and dr M W bad and the presidents of the various quorums rond auxiliaries and representatives of 0 the bishopric of the wards of 0 the western P part art ot of the stake while those from the eastern division were wera not present on account of 0 bed bad roads pres president ident henderson headerson made the address congratulating the members on their goodly turnout and living in a land that bw baa been so BO favorably ora bly blessed as ais ours elder P benj benj cameron jr president of the high priest quorum spoke upon the work of the high priest and the efforts that had been put forth to hold regular weekly meetings elder sargent of the high council and mitake supervisor of the lesser priesthood dwelt very forcefully upon the subject ot of agency clarence I 1 foy first assistant tnt superintendent ot of the Y M M I 1 A and mrs cecil areld president ot at the Y L M 1 I AL A and mrs wanda davis president of oc the primary g ge gave e some excellent reports ol of their organizations izat ions singing at the morning session was under the direction of elder samuel B riggs of hatch ward the opening prayer was offered by elder john F warthen n and the closing prayer by elder jamul james P cameron the afternoon session alton talbot directed the singing by the junior eh choir air of the north ward elder ell watson who recently returned from the eastern states mis slon gave an excellent leport doport ot of hla his report ot of hla his labors while there he was president of the albany branch and found many souls in that chat field sister amy sevy welfare worker of the stake made as an excellent report ot of that work and grive gave out some very valuable information in regard to welfare work bishop hans P ipson ot of the ward gave a report of 0 the work dur ing tho the past year and upon the responsibility of the priesthood giving the order and the blessings that flow from the exercises of the same president henderson Hende raon made the closing address calling upon the members tor for a further faithfulness and the need of more inore missionaries in the world the opening prayer was by elder james houston elder john T partridge pronounced the benediction |
