Show T F ERDMAN CALLED HOME shortly belore before noon on wednesday john F erdmann succumbed to the disorder which has been afflicting him tor for over a year after making a baliant struggle to wear out the malady mr erdmanis Erd manns trouble was complication of 0 the liver which virtually ate up the red corpuscles corpus cles of 0 his blood and while he did not suffer severe pain lie he was down by an overpowering weakness that was in itself painful mr erdmann Erd majin was born august 23 1860 at new york and when three years of 0 age removed with his parents to sebewa michigan where he made his homo home tor for many years in 1881 he was married to miss ada K R drown and they both became converted to mormonism in and came to brigham city in september 1889 upon arrival to this city mr erdmann and his brothers set up in the meat and grocery business in which they were eminently successful later mr erdmann and his son harvey L took over the business and for or a number of years conducted the leading meat market and grocery in the city mr air erdmann was elected mayor of 0 brigham gity city in 1898 and upon the completion ot of his term went immediately to england where he performed missionary work tor for two years he was elected mayor again in 1914 and served two years during this term mayor erdmann and his associates in the city council secured the purchase ot of part ot of the waters ot of maple spring and inaugurated the movement which resulted in the present splendid enlarged city water works system during the early years ot of his residence in this community mr erdmann saw the value of 0 real estate and when the snow property on main between forest and first south street was oferd for or sale he and his brother C at erdmann secured a big block ot of iti it they erected business houses thereon and at the present time this property is mons mong the most valuable in the city mr erdman has been a member ot of the dox box elder commercial club since its organization and was always prominently identified with every movement ot of a public nature launched for the growth and development ot of the city he is survived by his wife son harvey L erdmann of 0 this city daughter mrs royal M jeppson ot of blacktooth Black Dlack toot foot idaho brother charles M erdmann of 0 this city two brothers frank and geo erdmann of 0 sebewa michigan three sisters mrs mary palmer plymouth michigan mrs rose grown drown sebewa michigan mrs lena Hyden dale ot of the same state three children have preceded him to the other life funeral services will be held in the second ward chapel sunday afternoon at 4 |
