Show Marriage licenses have been issued since Thanksz'.ving by Clerk Halliday aa follows: Elwood T. Sumner, aged 24, of Vernal, and Laura Wilson, aged 17, of rayaon; W. I. llollev, aged 30 and Sarah C. Fuller, aged 24, both of Springville; Cyrus Ellis Baker, aged 23, and Emma M. Candless, aged 19, both ol Lehi; Christian Peterson, aged 26, of Mapleton. and Lucy C. Crump,-aged Crump,-aged 21, of Spanish Fork; James C. Peterson, aged 23, of Mapleton, and ! Anna M. Halvereon, aged 19, of Span ish Fork. Andrew Johnson of Spanish Fork was arrested at Nephi by Constable Sparks and given a hearing belore Com-1 Com-1 missioner Kirgau on a change of adul tery, lie was held "n $300.00 bonds, Theodore Lee and James P. Johnson being his sureties. The papers in the case have been turned over to Commissioner Com-missioner Dudley of this city. YeBttr-day YeBttr-day Mr. Lee, who ia a Tresbyterian minister, appeared before the commissioner commis-sioner and asked to be released from the bond. Lee it was, it seems, who gave the information that caused Johnson's John-son's arrest." Johnson was present and Commissioner Dudley looked into the evidence and found it to be so slight ' B not to warrant him placing the man in jail, and he was allowed to go on hia own recognizance until Monday when it ia understood he will have another an-other man present in court willing to Bign the bond. |
