Klizabetii Blood, plaintiff, vs. Orson Elood, defendant, I The people of the Territory of Utah send greeting to Orson lllood, defendant, j You are hereby required to appear in an action brought against you by the above named plaintiff, in the District Court of the First Judicial District of the Territory of fjuAi, and to answer the complaint nlod therein, there-in, within ten days, (exclusive of the day of service) after the service on you of this summons sum-mons if served within this county; or, if served out of this county, but in this district, within twenty days; otherwise within forty days or judgment by default will be taken against you, according to the prayer of this complaint. The said acton is brought to obtain a decree ol this court dissolving the bonds of matrimony matri-mony existing betweeu plaintiff and defendant; defend-ant; that plaintiff be restored to ail the rights and privileges of an unnamed person; that plaintiff be awarded tne custody of her minor child. Kobert Ulood ; and that plaintiff be allowed al-lowed to resume her maiden name of Elizabeth Eliza-beth Laird, and for cosis of suit herein an for general relier. Plaintiff alleges that she was married to the deiendant in the city of Provo, county of Utah aud territory of Utah, on Alay 1U, lfaya; that her maiden name was Elizabeth Laird; that as an issue of said marriage mar-riage a son wan born to plaintiff and defendant, defend-ant, to wit: Kobert Blood now one year old; that evir since said marriage plaintiff has been a loviDtr. obedient and dutiful wife: but lhatin the month of July, lsiti, defendant deserted plaiutiil aud has ever since said date absented himself from plaintiff; that ever since said JulylbwS and during the time between sain marriage and said July 1S'J2, defendant has wholly failed to contribute to the support or (maintenance of plamtiff and ever since the date last aforesaid, plaintiff has been compelled com-pelled to rely aolnly upon her own exertions for a support and livihood. For fuller and further particulars reference ia hereby made to the plaintiff's complaint now on file herein, a copy of which is hereto attached. And you are hereby notified that if you fail to appear and answer the said complaint as above required, the said plaintiff will apply to the court for the relief therein demanded, and costs ol suit, Witness the Hon.
