For the democracy of the entire territory ter-ritory we reaffirm our fath in the permanence per-manence of federal union and ; our evotion to the constitution and the laws; and declare as cardinal doctrines of democracy: Firet Absolute acquiescence in the will of the majority as a vital principle of the democratic party. Second Total separation of church and state for the sake anke of civil and religious liberty. Third The liberty of the individual unvexed by sumptuary laws. Eighth That our democratic party is the friend of the laboring man in every avocation of life, and will protect pro-tect hL interest alike against the ag gressiocs of monopoly as well as the commune. We believe the restoration of the money of the constitution is now the paramount, iesue before the country, and insist that both parties shall plainly state their respective posi ions upon the question in order that the voters may intelligently express their preference.
