Show ALIAS SUMMONS-IN THE DISTK1CT COUJRT OF IO the First Judicial District of the territory of Utah. Utah county, Sarah C. Lewis, plaintiff, vs. William B. Lewis, defendant. The people of the territory of Utah send greeting to WiUiam K, l ewis, defendant. You are hereby required to appear in an action ac-tion brought against you oy the above named plaintiff, in the district court of the fcirst Judicial Ju-dicial district of the territory of Utah, and to answer tbe complaint llJed therein, within ten days (eripivft the day or service) after the serVloS O.i iwt otim summons it served within this county; or if served out of this county, but in this district, within twenty days; otherwise within forty days or judgment judg-ment by default will be taken against you. according ac-cording to prayer of this complaint. The said action is brought to obtain a judgment judg-ment out of this court dissolving the bonds of matrimony now existing between the plaintiff plain-tiff and defendant nereiu, and that plaintiff have the custody of their minor child James H. Lewis and for costs of suit. Plaintiff a leges that they intermarr ed at Farmiugton, New Mexico, on September 20, lb'Jl; that deiendant for more than t ne year lastpsst has wilfull neglected to provide plaintiff with the common necessaries of life, and thnt during the wnole period of their married life, defendant has abusod and treated treat-ed plaiutiff in a cruel and inhuman manner, causing greatmental distress aud anguish.
