Show PRESIDENT SHOOT'S WILL. The Document Is Filed for Probate Its Provisions. The last will and testament of President Presi-dent A. O. Smoot, Bigned and - s.tt3Sted in the presence of David John and Edward Ed-ward Partridge on the 29th day of January Jan-uary this year, was filed today for probate pro-bate as per legal notice elsewhere. - The important document is brief and to the point. It appoints Reed Smoot, A. O. Smoot jr. and James W. Bean executors and confers upon them the power to compound and compromise com-promise debts and demands claimed against or due the estate, and to settle and adjust all accounts and to refer any disputes hat may arise, et- grow out ot the affairs of the estate to arbitration, arbi-tration, to produce funds from the estate to enable them to execute any or all of the provisions of the will, either by sale or re-investment, or they may use part of the income for that purpose. Subject to the payment of all just debts and liabilities, funeral expenses and the execution of this" will, the property of the estate is bequeathed as follows: 1 A suitable monument not to exceed ex-ceed in cost S2000.00 is ordered erected, 2 To Zma D. Smoot Whitney as a special bequest is given $1000.00, 8 For the Bole use and benefit of Orson Parley Smoot, Horace Alma Smoot and Wilford Smoot, minors, is bequeathed to James AV. Bean in trust: To each $500 00 capital stock in the First Nation pL bank of Provo; 1500 00 of the capital stock of the Utah County Savings bank; $30J.00 of the capital stock of the Provo Co op; $200.00 of the capital stock of the Provo Woolen Mills; an undivided one-sixth interest in and to the store situated on Centre stieet twenty-five feet west of J street Provo, thence north 99 feet, thence west 24 feet, thence south 99 feet, thence east 25 feet to the place of beginning be-ginning (the Smoot Drug company building). This property is to be transferred back to tbe minors as they shall reach the age of maturity. 4 To Diana E. Smoot, the surviving surviv-ing wife, one-third of the residue of all the deceased's properly, both real and personal for the term of her natural nat-ural life is given. 5 To Margaret T.
