Show Memories of the world's fair and the once noted "World's Fair Hotel and Excurrsion Company of Utah," ere awakened by the planting of a suit in the First District court, which was done today, It- will be remembered remem-bered that the company above referred to consisted of W H. Roberts, R. H. Dodd and B Bacbman, jr., all of this city. The hotel and excursion scheme was a dead failure. The company lost money, lost whole wadi of it. It seems from the tencr of the complaint in the suit filed in court today that 'he members mem-bers of the company didn't Bhare and share alike in the losses, or at least have not up to date. The complaint alleges that on March 23, 1893. Mr. Roberts and wife signed a piper agreeing agree-ing to pay to Mr. Bachman the sum of $733 00 with interest at 10 per rent, per annum after December 15, 1893, and 10 per cent, additional it suit should be instituted for collection. It further alleges that the note was given for money advanced for the use of the company, being part of Mr. Roberts' Rob-erts' share of the investment; that Mr. Roberts has refunded only $72.00 to Mr. Bachman. Mr. Bachman now sues for $661.00 together with interest and costs and for 10 per cent of the whole amount of the note as attorney's fee.
