Show I i Professor Rtdalch ot the B. Y. academy, who departs soon on a mission mis-sion to the southern states, was made the happy victim of a joyful surprise party last evening by about a hundred of his students. They congregated in the Probert hall opposite the academy and sent a delegation of perhaps half their number down to the professor's horn He and his good wife were routed and made to march up to the hall where a magnificent banquet was spread for them. After feasting, the evening was spent in social converse and felicitous ereeting. Dr. Karl G. " Maeser and several of the faculty of the acadsmy were honored guests of the occasion. |
