Show THE BAL MASQUE. The Grandest Social Event of the Season. MAGNIFICENT COSTUMES. The Opera House a Poem of. Beauty, And Fairly Packed With a" Happy Crowd . Who Enjoyed the Fun Until an Early Hour This Morning. There will be more dances and other social entertainments given in Provo this social season but the grand car-nivival car-nivival and masquerade ball last night in the opera house was the climax, the formal closing and the grandest, most thoroughly enjoyed and most successful success-ful event of the season, The interior of the building was a perfect poem of beauty, evergreens, bunting and gay colors artistically set off were seen everywhere. The house in every nook and corner was fairly packed with humanity and to the lovely strains of music produced by the combined Coleman and Jepperson band the gay maskers frisked and frolicked for three hours or more and the hundreds hund-reds of spectators whiled away the time most pleasantly. When unmasking unmask-ing time arrived there was the greatest of pleasurable confession and surprises everywhere. Hon. W. H. King very gracefully and very creditably sustained the character char-acter of King Carnival. There were scores- of merry makers and visitors from other places. The dance was a glorious whirl of pleasure which kept up until 2 o'clock this morning. The characters as The Dispatch was able to get them were as follows: Zina Beck, Queen Carnival. O.
