Show There are a few leyel-headed republicans repub-licans left in Provo. They expressed themselves this morning as being desirous of hearing the other side before be-fore condemning Judge Smith. They were inclined to make some allowance tor the partisan zeal of the Tribune, and to believe that the telegram episode pictured up so glowingly by it was not so desperately harmful as represented to be. These men will find, when they read The Dispatch this evening, that they were entirely right. M. M. Warner, attorney for R. Rs Irvine In the latter's libel euit against the Enquirer of this city, today served the following notice on the defendants and on llliams, anCott & Sutherland Suther-land and J. E. Booth, their attorneys: "PJeaee take notice that the plaintiff 1 in the above entitled cause (It. It. Irvine vs, The Enquirer company, a corporation, corpora-tion, et al) will moye the court to set aside the verdict of the jury herein, and for a new trial. Said motion will be made upon a statement of the case to be hereafter filed and settled as provided pro-vided by law, on the grounds of error in law, occurring a the trial and excepted ex-cepted to by plaintiff as shown by the record of said trial." |
