Show A Truthful Statement. The report of the Democratic convention con-vention held in the courthouse. Tuesday Tues-day night, March 2d, as related by the Enquirer, was very incomplete, and in the reference made to the ideas advanced ad-vanced by O. A. ConkMng there was a positive falsehood, Robert Skelton, the Enquirer's representative, who tried to make that report, had promised prom-ised to pay C. A. Conklin? $6 for photographs photo-graphs made at the Phoenix Studio last fall, but has so far neglected to do so. This explains why he told the malicious malic-ious lie. If in the future he should learn enough co-Dmon sense to tell the truth about public deliberations, and be worthy of respect, I would gradually forgive him for all the past. C. A. CONKLIN'G. |
