Show Court Proceedings. The jury yesterday afternoon found for plaintiff $75.00 in the case of J, C. Abegg vs. W. A. Miller, Spanish Fork city vs. Isaac Jones et al ; dismissed at plaintiff's cost. Geo. C. Thomas vs. Isaac Jones, guardian et al; verdict for plaintiff, Default was set asice in the case cf M. 8. Aschiem vs. Jos. B. Wilson et al. i Today two demurrers were argued ! and overruled and the accounts of U. S. Marshal Benton were approved. Demurrer was withdrawn in the case of Kahn Brotners vs. Charles Brewer-ton Brewer-ton et al and judgment for $208, intei-est intei-est and costs entered in favor of plaintiff. TLis case is one wherein blanks, who is a boy about ten years of age is suing for $lo!l.00 carnages alleged to have beer, sustained by false imprisonment. In August last at Midway this side of Soldier Summit on the It. G. W. some obstructions, such as railroad spikes, coupling pins, etc., were laid cn the rails in such a way as to make it dangerous for passing trains. The boy was arrested and brought to l'rovo and placed in jail. Later it was found there was not a good case against the boy and he was released. Being placed in jail so frightened the boy, that he cried and sobbed for hours unlil he was hysterical hys-terical and this together with the long trip he Lad hten compelled to make, injured his health. |
