Show DISTRICT COURT. An Extraordinary Session is Held Today. GRAND AND PETIT JURORS For the February Term of Court are Drawn Their Names are Published Some Cases Dismissed Others are Set for Trial Other Business. All unexpectedly Judge Smith last evening infoimed the clerk and other court attaches that he would be in Provo today and hold a session of court. The attorneys and other interested parties were informed and court was held today. The following business was transacted : People vs. Isaac Clark, action dismissed. dis-missed. United States vs. Julia Peay, action dismissed. Criminal cases were set as follows: People vb. II. Shaeffer, grand larceny February 20th. (Two cases.) People vs. Nephi Graves, assault with intent to commit rape. February 20th. People vb. John Atwood, same Eu J. Tlatsox of Lake Shore and Ann E Hawkins of Benjamin will wed. License was issued last evening. Mb. Bob Cunningham the well known Bub has just completed arrangements ar-rangements for the manufacture of all Kinds ;f candies. He leaves today for Salt Lake intending to purchase the necessary machinery. W. F. Blackbuen. nephew of the late deceased Judge Blackburn, de-Darted de-Darted last evening for his home in Illinois. Mr. Blackburn has succeeded in getting the property and business of his uncle all in the proper hands. Bv mutual ci nsent the strong and well known law firm of Kin? & Houtz today dissolved partnership. All unfinished un-finished business entrusted to their care will be attended to bv the members mem-bers jointly. Mr. King will retain the old stand and offices in the bank building build-ing and continue the practice of his profession. Mr. Houtz will also continue con-tinue the practice of law. David A. Opensiia-w, son of Collector Col-lector Openshaw, has bepn thinking seriously of other things than taxes, lev'es and the like lately things altogether alto-gether more pleasant. As a result of these thoughts and the pleasant pleadings plead-ings he has been making for some time past at Santaquin he went before Clerk Halliday today and got "the little I paper." A visit to the Salt Lake temple tem-ple will follow and Miss Mary Wall will become Mrs. Openshaw. Mr. Sam Schwab has just opened a neat little grocery store next door to the Senate meat market. This is a prime location and reflects good juda-ment juda-ment on the part of Mr. Schwab, as does the employment of Mr. Chris. Peterson, the affable clerk who for so many years did efficient service for Mr. Boshard. This alone will insure a heavy patron a ge.o The line of groceries carried embraces all that is usually included in a first class house. The Dispatch notes with pleasure the wise move just made by the S. P. Eggertson mercantile house. They have purchased the grocery business which adjoined them on the east, formerly owned by S. P. Egsiertsen Jr., and joined the two, thus making a gen eral merchandise house which carries all lines of goods. The building just vacated will be fixed up in good shape for a west end amusement hall, next Friday night being set for their initial ball.
