Show FOR BIG MONEY. John C. Graham and the Enquirer Com pany, Alleged Libelers, Sued by K. It. Irvine. Just before this issue goes to press R. R. Irvine, through his attorneys "Warner & Warner, filed suit in the First District court against John C. Graham and the Enquirer company, a corporation, to recover $25,000 and costs, damage sustained because of libel. li-bel. The complaint was filed an late today to-day that it was impossible for The Dispatch Dis-patch to prepare for publication a full synopsis of it. However, five of the most virulent and offensive of many libelous li-belous paragraphs and articles are quoted and sued upon, $5,000 on each count. Tbe complaint alleges that the defendants de-fendants have borne plaintiff malice, hatred and ill will for no cause and for many months past did continually manifest the same by diverse, sundry, repeated aDd persistent false and injurious in-jurious charges, innunendoes and insinuations in-sinuations against the plaintiff It also alleges that the defendants did publish and circulate these willfully will-fully maliciously and with intent to impeach the honesty, integrity, virtue, character, business, and reputation of the plaintiff. |
