Show A it un away occurred on J street Monday evening last, in which a horse, attached to a light buggy, made the dust lly for a few minutes. The horse was hitched in front of The DisrAxcn block, and on the approach ap-proach of the motor broke the halter strap and started north, but was stopped before any damage was done. President Harrison will arrive in Salt Lake city on the morning of Saturday, May 9th, and leave for the east the same afternoon. For this occasion oc-casion the Rio Grande Western Rr.il-wav Rr.il-wav will sell tickets to Salt Lake citv and return at rate of one fare (half rate) for the round trip. Tickets will be sold May 8th and 9th, good returning return-ing up to and including May 11th. A mammoth Democratic ralley is to be held in the Pay son Opera House on Saturday night, on which occasion Judge ludd.Jos. L. Rawlins, of Salt Lake. city, and A. I. Gash, Wm. Pro-bert, Pro-bert, Judge Dusenl erry, and othtr prominent Provo Democrats will be present and expound Jeffersonian doctrines. The Fayson, Springville and Provo bands w ill be present.
