The papers pa-pers here printed today a savage attack at-tack on Utah by Kate Field in a lecture delivered last night on the Mormons. The senate committee on finance failed again today to-day to reach an agreement as to when the tariff bill will be reported to the senate. Some members express the opinion, however, that it will be linally acted upon durintr the first days of next week. Several features of the bill vere taken up at random and on some of these (he debate was very animated. Objection was made to the publication of the proceedings of committee and a resolution pledsjinj: the members to secrecy was adopted. After a ehott debate on the seigniorage seignior-age biil, Harris demanded that at 2 o'clock a vote should be taken on Alli-Bon's Alli-Bon's motion to reconsider the vote by which the bill was ordered to the third .reading.
