United States vs. James H. dinger: Cviuse to be resubmitted to the grand jurv. Byron Sessions was ordered to appear March 3rd for sentence, having been found guilty of rape. The jury in the damage suit against the U. P. Ry., awarded Mrs. Mellor judgment in the sum of $500. This morning morn-ing the Wm.C. Mellor vs. Union Pacific Ry. case was compromised,the railroad company agreeing to pay plaintiff $750 for injuries sustained by plaintiff on account of the derailing of defendant's tr in. L. E, Riter vs. Sun Foundry & Machine Co. : Matter taken under advisement, ad-visement, A jury was empaneled in the case of J. W. Beasley vs. E. H. Sparks eta, suit to recover $930 00 on account of a levy made on 175,000 brick at Xephi last year. The brick were attached under the impression that they belonged be-longed to a brother to the plaintiff. King & Houtz is for the plaintiff and Thurman & Sutherland for the defendant. defen-dant.
