Show American Ferryboats to Boulogne. The Fairfield Shipbuilding company, at Govan, has just laid down in its works at Govan a new light draft paddle pad-dle steamer, which is to be built on the American principle, with four decks. This vessel, ordered by Mr. Arnold Williams, Wil-liams, and intended for a new company registered as the Palace Steamer company, com-pany, will cost 90,000 and is intended for a new summer service either to Boulogne Bou-logne or to Ostend, or to both alternately, alternate-ly, and her engines, capable of securing a continuous speed of 20 knots, will allow al-low of the return journey being made to either place from London in a day.
