Thur-man, Thur-man, and heard the talk relative to Mr Lv man voting for Mr. Thurman. Mr. Lyman said to Mr. Thurman: "I beard one republican say he was going to vote for you." Mr. Thurman smiled, and asked "if that man was Mr. Lyman?" to which that gentleman gentle-man replied as steted by yesterday's Enquirer. This ia written in reply to the Enquirer's statement that Mr. Thurman solicited Mr. Lyman's vote, which is not true. When Karl G. Maeeer gets through with the republican Park there will not be a twig left of its dead branches. |
