UT III SENATOR URGES 11 ORK ON PUBLIC BUILDINGS BEGIN 0 washington march 4 in con terence ference today with the super supervising architect senator W II 11 king urged that steps be taken immediately to erect scores of public buildings for which congress made appropriations four years or more ago but which projects were laid aside and abandoned because the highl high price of construction made it imps sible bible to camj complete bete these buildings tor for the amount appropriated by coa a gress among the projects laid aside were the eureka and spanish fork buildings and the senator says there are several other utah buildings tint thit have been authorized but never erected in these days of wide I 1 spread unemployment and with costs of material and labor below the war level the senator took the position that the erection of public buildings s was fully justified and said that in bis his judgement jud gement if funds hereto fo e appropriated are not ample con congress gres can be looked to to provide sufficient other funds to complete these numerous buildings he insisted that a start be made with the money now on hand the architect promised to go into tho the situation and report back to the senator in the near future
