Tavish attends Scouts in the Gunnison 2nd Ward. He is the son of Woody and Erin Miner. Congratulations to the following Gunnison Valley High School soccer players for being named to the Deseret News 2A All-State Soccer Team: junior forward Diego Gonzalez, senior mid-fielder Victor Villanueva, senior defender Macklin Johnson, sophomore goal keeper Carlin Johnson, and sophomore mid-fielder Isaias Ruiz. Diego Gonzalez Page 7 GVHS to hold basketball camp The Gunnison High School basketball program will be sponsoring a youth basketball camp June 13 - 16th. Next year's Kindergarten through 5th grades will be held at Gunnison Elementary from 8 - 10 a.m. and next year's 6th - 9th grades will be held at Gunnison High from 10 a.m. - Noon. Basketball fundamentals will be emphasized with opportunities for team scrimmages and individual competitions. Jeremy Evens from the Utah Jazz will come to the last day of the camp to present and work with the participants of the camp. Cost is $35. Payment will be received at the high school until June 10th and also on the first day of the camp. All participants will receive a camp shirt.
